The last few times I've called at Reybridge to check on the cygnets there has been no sign of them. Today, one of them was there, looking fully grown though still with its brown feathers. The day was drab and colourless, the light was poor, and the pictures noisy and disappointing. After tomorrow, the clocks will go back in the UK and the problems of light will get far worse.
Luckily, Smokey, who came home around 03:00, had laid claim once again to the wine crate and was graciously available for his close-up, and so this is one I prepared earlier, at 09:26 hr this morning.
Note: Also backblipped yesterday's.
