what are you doing daddy?

I frequently ask myself variations of this question. L & I left France to come back to the UK today, and neither of us really wanted to. His cousins were all really sad that we have gone back to our house and that it might be months before we see each other again.
At least L kept me smiling because I didn't like leaving my sister with 3 kids, all under 4...he was really patient and cheerful in the airports and made me and many of the people he encountered smile and laugh.
