Allowed myself a lie in this morning but slept through it and woke an hour before my midday Polish lesson. It was difficult.

A smidgen more Polish this afternoon, but mostly English as I caught up with my language exchange partner; and it was from the office block where he works to the West of the city centre, that I had the chance to get this panoramic view of Warsaw.

I had absolutely no desire to go out tonight so declined the offer to join some friends at a pub with a Halloween party...and instead plonked the iMac on the coffee table, plonked myself on the sofa and watched a whole load of telly including SCD on real-time iPlayer.

Bed-time now; an extra hour too. Lovely.
