Target Aquired

I can finally cross Mission Peak off the "Bucket List". I had a great day today and as promised got much better photos. I got all kind of birds in flight. I believe this is a Red Tail Hawk. I got birds, ground squirrels, rabbits, cows and even a pair of Coyotes hunting on the mountain. I almost posted one of them instead but I like this shot the best.

Mission Peak gets its name from Mission San Jose. the mission has been there for well over 100 years if not more. If you ever get to Freemont, California you should really check out both the mission and the mountion.

BTW...Yes I made it to the top and no I'm not doing anything tomorrow...at all!
