Waterspout Ahoy!

As we sailed through the Straits of Messina we saw this waterspout form by the the coast on the mainland. It lasted for around ten minutes and was visibly joinded from sky to sea. None of us had seen one before and even the captain was outside with his camera. Phenomenal. We later sailed past Stromboli, a volcano which is continuously erupting, which I missed as I'd got my timings wrong and was fast asleep - damn!
