Still hanging on

This might be the last shot of roses in full bloom this year - there will be single blooms about for a few weeks yet, but I suspect the rain forecast for this week will finish most of them off. The building behind is the Gladstone Theatre, originally the men's dining hall for the Port Sunlight soap factory workers. The women's dining hall was about 5 minutes' walk away, which doesn't seem quite fair to me, unless they were given a longer break (I suspect not).
