A Sasanach's Skye photos

Cycling through the heart of Skye

As many of you know, last night at 2-00 am the British clocks were put back one hour. I guess this heralds the end of the British summer. Does that make this the first day of winter?
Well, it was a still start to the day up here on the Isle of Skye. Tomorrow Clare and I will start our holiday. In other words our business draws to a close tonight. We'll be on holiday until mid March.
Today, once our jobs were done this morning, we togged up and went for a cycle ride. We took another forestry road this time heading northward from the Struan road. In this photograph you see Clare returning southward on her bicycle. In the distance are the Red Cuillin Hills to the left and the Black Cuillin Hills to the right.
