Lake Rotoroa

This is looking toward the head of Lake Rotoroa in Nelson Lakes National Park (NZ). Rotoroa is the companion lake to Lake Rotoiti. They're in the same National Park, yet Rotoiti attracts far more visitors than Rotoroa - this may be because the sandflies (midges) are twice the size at Rotoroa.

This photo should come with a sound track of hands slapping exposed flesh.
