Happy Halloween II

These are Mum's handmade bats. They aren't intended as halloween decorations - she sells them to raise money for the Bat Conservation Trust of which she's a supporter (and a qualified bat worker no less) but my pair made such good decorations that I thought I'd make them my blip for today (they lasted longer than yesterday's cakes!).

Through Mum's involvement with the local bat group I've had some pretty close encounters with the little creatures - she often has a rescued bat in recovery at her house - and they are very cute close up, even if they do have upturned squished noses!
