cemetery. The kids were getting too loud in the cafe next door so we took them out onto the cemetery for a walk. With the girls we usually try to find their names on the gravestones and they really rather like it. We teach them to respect the place and the memorials but it is a good place to find out about history, what happened in certain years, the wars that just took away generations. The more tragic graves were of course the newer ones and it is hard to explain to the children why some children had to die. But we cannot shelter them from anything and I suppose by coming here it makes it part of our lives which it is.
