Mother's ruin

Philosophise if you like over whether the glass is half-full or half-empty. I don't care. This glass, I assure you, is almost all-empty.

Some days lend themselves to this response. Tomorrow, my mother returns from hospital after 16 weeks in dry dock. Friday noon, my mother-in-law's flat has to be empty, cleaned, and ready to hand over keys to new owners.

And on top of that, there is work - ever present. In the midst of an office reorganisation - the wrong table was delivered! Aaaah - such a kerfuffle.

But D will have her new desk tomorrow - it is such a pleasure having her taking over all sorts - K will be around to help sort - A will not come for his morning meeting because he has (absolutely literally) no voice so it would be a one-sided conversation.

The rich variety of life. For those who care about such things as Juniper - this is Whitney Neil with a top up of Schweppes!
