Oh no its the Gruffalo

Of all the splendid costumes H has made for the children we all love the Gruffalo the best. Maybe it is because it took the most effort, all the purple prickles we handmade, as were the horns, and the basic costume was silver until we sprayed it brown ( a very smelly job, not to be undertaken in a confined space). Or maybe it is just because it is a fantastic book that we have read together many times.

The costume was made for the annual Linton Book Festival and Alfie wore it with great pride.

There is a small chance that it is being loaned to the school from tomorrow (note thats a loan!) and Poppy has never worn it so......
