The Burbs

Another stab at shooting at night. I fully intend to take the cliched shots of car light trails sometime this or next week, but this is a bit more sedate.

This is Bangor West station and if you squint enough, you might see the glow of the lights of Bangor itself against the clouds at the back of the shot. For those readers/viewers outside NI, Bangor is a dormitory town for Belfast and the train service is well used but IMHO, is vastly overpriced when compared to other train commuter services, such as CIE in ROI. Between the exorbitant car parking prices in Belfast, traffic wardens now being operated by a private company and forcing more people into the car parks and the expensive trains and buses, commuters are being squeezed from every angle.

Rant over...

A train arrived and left and I shot it moving with the camera exposed but I think it takes a high number of cars to make those trails and one train doesn't really cut it, so I went with this shot.

The glow of the yellow lighting makes the foliage look a little jungle-like.
