Dinner at the Melfort Mermaid

Our first day at Melfort Pier and Harbour. We were attracted to this particular place because of the strong emphasis in their advertising on having a welcoming setup for pets. It is all we could ask for - a chalet on the lochside, and underfloor heating for Jess & Molly to dry off afterwards!

On our first evening, we did no cooking. Instead, we went to the on-site restaurant, just next to our chalet.

Jess & Molly stayed in the house until after we had finished our mel. Then they joined us on the balcony, and we all enjoyed an ice cream.

West Coast midges? - We did not see any!
