Bygone Belgrade

Back home from my work trip to Belgrade. Amazing place - hard to do it justice, but suffice to say it challenges any preconceptions you may still have hanging on from its recent history. It's just a wonderful city - I will definitely be back to explore much more. It was also so lovely to catch up with colleagues from across Europe.

It did however please me to see that not all the hallmarks of yesteryear have gone - they still have old-school departure boards in the entrance to the airport - very romantic!
