Autumn Reflections

For today I planned to wait til later in the afternoon and head up to Dunkeld and get a shot of the trees there in their autumn fineness. You know with nice reflections in the river Tay.

But when we got there the lovely blue sky had been replaced with some milky grey clouds.

Good job then that Mrs Tonto and me had already been for a long walk with Breagha in the morning. We walked from Blackford up to the White Muir all the way to the Gleneales golf course and back. Stopping of at one of the small ponds there for some photos.

We never met another soul. Perfect weather, if a little cold. Just us and the dog.

Oh, and Breagha had a ball, in what can only be described as perfect cocker spaniel country. She hardly stopped, running everywhere with her nose glued to the ground. She sped off at one point after she spotted a deer in the ferns about a 1/4 mile away. She flushed out a pheasant from the ferns.

I can only assume she couldn't find any fox or deer poo to roll in. For a change she decided to try some cow. Unbelievable! She's been washed twice and still smells like a farm-yard.
