The view from Kinnoull Hill

We went to visit the inlaws in Perth today. As we were driving up it was great to see that there was still a fair bit of Autumn colour left on the trees particularly on the Beach and Larch trees.

I had been feeling a bit ill but on arrival in Perth I decided on a kill or cure run up to the summit of Kinnoull Hill.

It has been years since I'd been up and the views were still as fantastic as I'd remembered them.

The view is looking East toward Dundee along the Tay valley. Looks much better LARGE.

The drop off the summit is completely sheer and it was sobering and disquieting to see birthday cards and notes left for people who had comitted suicide here.
