tea tasting

this afternoon was spent in a tea shop in chinatown. being served tiny cup of tea after tiny cup of tea. working our way through flavors and hearing the benefits and other facts about each tea. the man who ran the shop, uncle gee, was one of the strangest most energetic people i have ever met. threatening people in the most serious and hilarious of ways.

it was quite the experience, and we all walked away with a delicious selection of teas. this photo is of my brother giving his tea a little sniff before taking a sip.
