Castle Stairs

Down to Newcastle today and just missed a bus at the station so walked across the Tyne, via the castle and its stairs (much easier going down them than up!). My gosh, it was wild weather today. When I got on the train home I was quite concerned that there might be a repeat of the Berwick debacle, but the driver even made up time through the Borders and fair zoomed into Edinburgh. What a relief to get home - and, even better, DaveH is cooking a delicious PIE for tea!
