Autumn Beech, South Deeside Road

Rainwater from yesterday's torrential rainstorms has dripped down the trunk of this beech tree beside the South Deeside Road east of Banchory, Aberdeenshire, adding another layer of complexity to the already well patterned (and much-carved) bark.
