Law Books

Now this a trip down memory lane.

I only lived in London for one year, in 1983. I visited Wildy's a few times, to buy books and more generally to inhale its 'proper law' atmosphere of olde worlde formalism.

On the way to today's conference at the Law Society HQ on Chancery Lane (*not* however a Law Conference), I walked through the bit of London that looks like an Oxbridge College (decided against using a keep off the grass sign as today's blip). I liked the formal character of the window display, plus the vague refections of the sky.

Tonight a little family dinner in Clapham.
