Three non-working working days shouldn't be enough to forget and disconnect but with the busyness of the previous few days it's seemed longer, but the current-state-upon-leaving email system tested last year worked sufficiently again to remind me what I was doing and thinking last Wednesday. It made the return-to-work day much easier to cope with to the extent that I still got to wander about fruitlessly at lunchtime and still get home in time to observe the wingpiglet shuffling forward a couple of inches on his elbows with slightly more ease than previously. Even if it was only in order to get close enough to the aluminium leg of his high chair in order to dribblily nom it it's still progress.
