The Standard Lamp

After a dreadful start to the day....lost tablets, missing vital receipt, small spat with the ridiculous Mr C&D over missing receipt, lost favourite earring that the lovely Mr C&D bought me, we decided it might be wise to get out of the house for the day.

A pending project for BabyMuppet's room was to deal with the elderly standard lamp.

The lamp was purchased in the sale, from Debenhams many moons ago and when we moved house and no longer required it, my lovely Ma gave it a home and a new shade.....sage green with dusty pink roses. Yikes!

Long story short and all that, recently she decided there was no longer room for it and asked if we wanted it back so it has been painted white, the shade has been daubed with fabric paint, and the green fringing has been replaced with something more to BabyMuppet's liking

All this has been done this afternoon, and it's now in pride of place by her bed!
