Joe's Adventure Part 2: Hanging On

Part 1

Once Joe was outside he looked around trying to decide where he should start his adventure. The place where the grass ends? No, that was too dangerous. He had seen monsters storm down the rocky path. He went to the back of the house and saw a tree that had fallen down. The tree had fallen over in a storm and his owner hadn't bothered to get rid of it. "I'll climb that!" Joe said. "That will be exciting." So Joe climbed it. Once at the top, he looked out over the side. What a view, he thought. Joe's foot suddenly slipped and he started to fall off. Franticly he tried to stop himself and grabbed the stump of a limb. He looked below him as he dangled from the tree. "I wanted excitement but not like this," he thought. He tried to pull himself up but he couldn't do it. He felt his figures start to slip and had one thought as they slipped all the way off. "Is this how my adventure is going to end?" With that he fell through the air pummeling to the ground.
