Camp Bay

Holiday here in Christchurch today, and a stunning day. Sunny, little wind, warm!

So dispite Hannah feel not quite right (she had thrown up early morning) we set off on a walk. The idea was to walk to the top of Mt Herbet, from the saddle (driving to) between Purau and Port Levy.

Needless to say, like all attempts at bike riding or walking recently there was lots of whining and moaning. Hannah had an excuse, maybe, but her brother ... well he just needs an attitude adjustment.

So, very reluctantly we retreated back to the car and headed to the beach, actually a reasonably remote beach. We all calmed down, and enjoyed the afternoon,. It was fab. Sunny, warm, and even the water was OK.

Just Google'ing up the bay I see it's for sale. Now, where is that spare mill or two ? ?
