Roberts at the Beach

Wrightsville Beach is quiet (for the most part) after the summer is over. Many students rent the beach houses and others are closed up. There is a big triathlon tomorrow and a holiday flotilla a few weeks away. Here is a picture of "Roberts", the iconic grocery store that has served the beach for many years. It's on the main street of Wrightsville Beach an is most famous for it's wonderful chicken salad, although one can purchase just about anything needed for a beach holiday. The taxi cab must have been waiting for someone to finish their purchases in Roberts.
