patients is a virtue

I was so excited for so long to get a Nikon D90. I had resolved that as soon as my D70 died, I'd get the D90. Then it became clear that the D70 wasn't planning on dying any time soon, so I started waiting for the price of the D90 to come down.

I waited so long that the D90 was replaced by the D7000. So, having waited long enough, I pre-ordered the Nikon D7000.

Wow.

What a camera.

I like that it can meter AI lenses, those are really old. This picture was taken with an E series 50mm, a 30 year old lens. And I like that it goes to ISO 25600 (my D70 stops at 1600). Also, I like that it has dual card slots. Well, this could go on all night, let me just say:

Wow.

What a camera.

And I love my son, what a boy!
