reflected glory

So, this morning we went for a walk with the Gay Outdoors Club, over Cartmel Fell. There were over 30 of us (a very large group) and we had a great walk - about 8 miles, with plenty of snack stops - would have been great for us but we'd left our snacks in the Bongo... didn[t even have a bottle of water between the three of us. Not recommended for a 5 hour walk, but thanks to the generosity of other walkers we didn't starve or dehydrate.

And we saw some stunning views across the southern lakes and barrow peninsulas, and also some lovely tarns, enhancing the colours of the trees. I like this time of year.
