Journey Through Time

November Drizzle

A fine day in the Pacific Northwest as low clouds bring our signature drizzle in for a visit. Softly covering every leaf, branch and blade of grass, it is beneficial to both man and beast. The birds are out in full force, as a little soft rain won't deter them from gathering sunflower seeds from the feeder. Constant companions, the Nuthatch and the Chickadee flitter from branch to branch and then, after deeming it fairly safe, make a run to the feeder for some energy boosting seeds. The leaves are falling faster now, and the young Gingko tree that replaced our diseased Red Bark Maple, will soon be bare.
