Salute

A twenty-one gun salute today and an opportunity to test out the digital lens.
I wasn't going to use this one but in the end, I can't be bothered going out and looking for another. Memo to anyone who wants to do a gun like this - get the first one or two - after that there's a bit too much smoke around the muzzles and it gets a little obscured (not that, at that distance, there was much detail anyway!).
I have no idea why there was a salute today - but with Remembrance Sunday being yesterday, I thought a gun one not too inappropriate...
