Cat's Cradle?

This image looks like big fat fingers, delicately manipulating bits of string.

As if indulging in the art of cat's cradle construction.

(A little imagination stretch should find a similar 'hand' just below, out of shot!)

Which leads me to recall many happy hours spent in the school playground with bits of string.
Or grubby (owing to mud/rain!) elastic, which went round two pairs of ankles and was jumped in and on for entertainment and amusement. Usually to the accompaniment of songs and rhymes. ('Dutch Skipping' to us).

I've been reminiscing in the World of Other, with an old school friend, visiting from her new home in Spain. There was silliness. (And a whiff of wine).

Feeling mellow and nostalgic. Tomorrow? Totally Here and Now!
