Like a wheel within a wheel

I can't possibly convey the terrifying scale and speed of this fairground ride in Liverpool city centre, captured more successfully by BaldEagle on Friday. Each little blurry blob round the outside is a carriage for two people, swinging out at impossible angles from the central stalk, so high up you almost fall over backwards gazing in horror. Honestly, people are paying good money to go on this as a pre-Christmas treat.
