Tiny Handmade Japanese Figure

I found this little fellow and his friends on the counter at the Okonomi-Yaki restaurant Abeno Too (Great Newport St. London WC2H). The figures were made by a former staff member and the detail on the Okonomi-Yaki heads behind him were fantastic - wearing a tiny version of the Abeno uniform complete with painstaking Japanese Characters painted on them. I guess these Okonomi-Yaki heads are the equivalent to Western Mr Potato Heads but done with typical Japanese originality and attention to detail.
