"Bit dark now for photography, love!"...

.... said the passer-by as I was setting up my tripod. Another laughed at me taking photos in the dusk. "Ah", thought I, "but I'm planning to take the photo for half a minute at least!".

We had arrived in Wales just an hour before and I ran into the park to catch the last of the light, and get my blip of the day (not that I'm addicted, you understand!)

This view is just a minute from my parents' front door, and, amazingly, right in the centre of Cardiff. Their street backs onto Pontcanna Fields, part of Bute Park, an amazing legacy left to the Cardiffians by the Bute Family.

Hopefully I'll get a few early morning misty shots this week too.....
