Where the road ends

Winter set in today, this time (I think) to stay. The picture is of College Drive, the main road through the university campus. For the most part people managed to keep their cars on the road even though where the road was actually located was anyone's guess. As a hint, I'll tell you that I took this picture from the safety of the sidewalk.
