Thursdays Walk

Our walk this week started in the Suffolk village of "Lavenham", from Lavenham we walked south along the "St Edmunds Way" path and onto the village of "Long Melford".
From Long Melford we went NNW to "Bridge Street Village" and finally back to our start point at Long Melford, a great walk in good company and we were blessed with super walking weather.
We measured the tree that Ron "my walking colleague" is standing inside, and we both came to the conclusion that this English oak must be in the region of "600" years old, that means that this oak must have started life in approx "1410".
It begs the question of "how much life has this tree seen since it started growing"
