Rememberance

...But we were up and out in time for the 10.30 Rememberance Service at Skaryszewski Park. What a stark contrast to last year's service at the same location, where we huddled together for warmth and wiggled toes to maintain circulation; This year was so warm. Blue skies and temperatures in the teens rather than the minuses made it very pleasant and prompted us to remove ourselves from the sofa later in the afternoon again to go for a walk. A beautiful late autumnal afternoon, kicking the leaves in the park resulted in a much-needed rest at Pub Lolek for a cup of something hot!

Home-made soup with a mezze of snacks and an evening on the sofa in our PJs, catching up with last night's SCD and Z-Factor on the iPlayer was just what we needed after our party-weekend...Bliss.
