Water... where it shouldn't be....

Well, unit EC 3 has stopped according to the schedule.
A few days ago we saw and heard this.
Now we can examine what caused the enormous amount of water and steam coming out of this tiny hole.

At left a electric actuator of a feedwater block valve.
There is water in the gearbox; you can see the level in the glass....
So there is more damage because all around is electric equipment that has to be checked today before we can start-up the unit in the forthcoming night.

It's a kind of weird story and almost no one believed it but the rumour was that some insulating guy tried to secure some insulation plate at the relief valve.
He apparently drilled a hole in the valve.
He was not aware of that.....
Until a blast of steam and water came out. (about 60 bar)
I think he was lucky....
