Historic Downtown

Needs a shot of life. The building on my left is an old bank building that once housed my favorite restaurant. Since it has been empty, this corner has been quiet during the day. The shoe store on the right is a local institution. "Jenny" was very successful and continued to come to work well into her agedness. Up until only a few years ago, she would at least come and sit in a chair in front of the store and greet customers. She was known for the high quality shoes they sold. I still have a pair of high healed sandles that I purchased in the 70's that are too good to throw away, so once in awhile, I make myself wear them...even if I don't wear heals any more!
