Beware Of The Yucca Plant!

These are the top tips of the Yucca rigida, native to the desert of southern Arizona and northern Mexico. Very sharp and stiff dagger like leaves. Once, and only once, I was working in my yard and hit this thing with the back of my hand! Ouch, right to the bone!!! I did survive, though my new nickname is 'Lefty'.
