Mess

this is Alice reaching for the eton mess whilst my lass looked the other way.

today was definitely noteworthy for 2 milestones for our family.

1) Hannah swam (with armbands) very happily without either of us anywhere near her, in fact, from then on she insisted on swimming in the opposite direction.

2) to even things up Alice then preceeded to climb up the full flight of stairs on her own without stopping to look back, time to start closing the stair gate again.

quite a day.

in fact at one point Hannah asked me what I did for the first time today, and looked at me a little disappointed when I couldn't think of anything.
