Apple Crumble and Custard

Following receipt of a delivery of fallen cooking apples by courier from family in the east, BA made an excellent dessert for us this evening. I do like the way the individual grains of demerara sugar stand out using my macro lens.

Those of you who know me will realise that this is not my helping of pudding. I do NOT eat custard. The reason why ... my secret.
