How close is too close?

Been having one of those days when nothing quite goes to plan but some things worked out for the better and others stopped before they started.

Attempted to take a pic of my friend's Border terrier but none of them were in focus. Yet another thing that didn't go to plan. Which is maybe for the best as this way you don't get the full force of the bored and slightly irritated look that MissB was giving me as I got too up close and personal. However I consider it payback for all those times she insists on licking my elbows and toes.
