Who ate all the pies?

This is a picture of a pork pie.

While i was at work on saturday, my Dad was at some cooking course hosted by this guy Nick Nairn, and he made this pie. I dont really know what they do but he always seem to come back to the house with tons of new product, usually stuff that he used while he was there. Im not sure if much of it is essential but some of it actually works pretty good too.

He did a dessert course one time and made some pretty awesome custard. I thought Sainsbury's 'taste the difference' was the boss but the stuff he made bested it.

This pie is at the other end of the spectrum in terms of the culinary masterpieces that i produce here in Stirling. It is a treat when i go home at the weekend and have access to the resources in the kitchen, pretty fortunate that Dad is so into cooking.

It probably means that ill end up trying to get a house with as big a kitchen as possible when im older. Illusions of grandeur . . .
