Stromness harbour

I was in Stromness before heading inland to a hen harrier roost to count incoming birds with the RSPB. No real chance of photographs there as it is during dusk, so a simple shot of the harbour. I noticed the symmetry of whites and harsh colours, which made a change from the blues, browns and greys of my usual land- and seascapes.

Later, with three others, we counted about 18 hen harriers, one of the UKs rarest birds of prey.
