Dexterity is defined as mental or manual skill, and stems of course from the Latin for right hand, dexter.

Many creative types like Andrea are left-handed - that is sinistral, or bestowed with sinistrality.

Does this mean, therefore, that were Andrea left-handed, he would be both dextrous and sinistral?

I don't know if he is left-handed or not. He is Italian, though, and as such virtually latin, so maybe he can at least shed some light on my etymological query.
