hope

These ceramic 'milk bottles' were made by my dear friend, an artist back home in New Zealand. The names on them are of native trees, many that were felled by the British settlers in the 1800s. They were designed to bring attention to the project of replantation of such trees that is currently going on in certain areas.

Today they bring my attention to home, and the New Zealand miners who are still trapped underground...and to the hope that everyone is still sharing that they will be found alive.
