can I get some backlighting on this situation? no snow in Cali so trying to plan a trip to CO before Crested Butte's "free ski" is over. We need a few friends on board to split gas and the cost of renting a place. But everyone is flaky and lame and after saying they'd go, they alway seem to find an excuse why they can't. What happened to a little sense of adventure? We all have work or school or family or something that we could use as an excuse, but sometimes you just need to say "f*ck it!" and just make fun things happen.

It has to be now. Tons friends will be there just this weekend, the forcast calls for snow the day before we get there and every day we're there, there's great early season lodging deals at places right next to the lift, with a hot tub, fire place, the works! and did I mention lift tickets are free! what's wrong with these people? For the off-chance that the flaky parties mentioned read this. Grow a pair, no excuses, this same opportunity won't happen again. These are the things we live for, right?
