Blustery

We were a bit early for lunch in the Martello restaurant, so went for a bit of a walk to pass the time. It was sunny and bright, but windy and a bit nippy. An invigorating walk all the same.

Lunch was okay but not great (the Martello tends to vary in quality from time to time). Good value, though, and pleasant and attentive staff.

Stopped off in one of the local licensed premises for refreshment and met Carl's neighbour whose partner is very unwell in hospital. Nothing we can do apart from offer support. We aren't allowed to visit because he's in intensive care.

Back home to music and TV and a bit of a read.
