Squall

Shetland does not get a lot of snow mainly because of the wind it tends to blow through. When conditions are right however we can get a heavy fall which will lie for a long time. Today it was mainly horizontal snow with squally showers rushing through and it was and is bitterly cold.

Not a day for being out too long.
